Penn State University is located in State College, Pennsylvania. It was originally founded in 1855 as an agricultural school. The university is home to over 88,000 students and enrolls students from every state and more than 130 nations. Penn State is a land-grant institution, which is focused on bringing positive impact to humanity through teaching, research, and its engagement mission.
